This morning we received news from Mark Brantley, Deputy Premier of Nevis and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Aviation, that United Airlines will start flying to St. Kitts from Newark. These new flights will commence from December 19th and running through till April 30th on Saturdays.
Commenting on the news Deputy Premier Brantley issued the following statement:
“We are very excited at this news as we continue to enhance airlift into the Federation. The Four Seasons Resort and our historic boutique properties on Nevis now have additional routes to bring their discerning guests to Nevis. Newark is a rapidly emerging international hub and United is a significant player in the travel market.
“This new route therefore provides us with a win win situation making it easier for our guests to get comfortably to our shores.
“Now you can leave Newark and be on any of our pristine beaches in time for cocktails as you watch the sunset. Some call Nevis paradise but we wish you to call it home.
“We welcome this news and look forward to welcoming new and returning guests home to Nevis.”
